11.00 a.m. Tai Chi Form, the Basics of the Yang Style with Joe Salmon or Group Form sharing and practice for Experienced Practitioners

12.00 p.m. The Twelve Postures of Tong Kong, a rare Qigong form. With Helen Haywood

1.00 p.m. Lunch is not provided. Please bring your own food. Music provided by Rainbow Woods, Singer songwriter

2.00 p.m. Dynamic 2 person exercises Fun useful exercises for people of any Tai Chi style and ability with Sam Forder

3.00 p.m. The Five Animal Games, a chance to learn this enjoyable Qigong Set with Sue Honeyfield

4.00 p.m. Tai Chi Sword Form, a chance to learn or refresh the 16 and 32 Posture Jian (Straight sword) forms with Chris Waters and Joe Salmon

5. 00 p.m. Basic Push hands and partner exercises With Joe Salmon

6.00 p.m. Comparing forms, a chance to look at the Compact 24, Beijing 24 and Cheng Man Ching 37 forms. With Joe Salmon

7.00 pm. Evening meditation, The Inner Microcosm and the 8 Pathways With Joe Salmon

Sunday 14th October

10.00 a.m. Tai Chi Yang Shen (the Spirit of Old Yang). A rare form of Tai Chi Qigong very similar to Shibashi but with its own distinct accent and flavour. With Chris Waters

11.00 a.m. Students Choice, Tai Chi Form practice or Basic Push hands and Partner exercises With Joe Salmon

12.00 p.m. Tai Chi Walking Stick Form with Mike Potter or Tai Chi Fan Form with Sue Honeyfield

1.00 p.m. Even the Gods will hear us. Celestial Exercises for Mind and Body with Alex Gallifent

2.00 p.m. Tai Chi Sword Form, a chance to learn or refresh the 16 and 32 Posture Jian (Straight sword) forms with Chris Waters and Joe Salmon

3.00 p.m. “A Meditation on Interconnectedness”: a Meditation on the web of human kindness from the Buddhist tradition, including breathing meditation, contemplation and visualisation with Matthew Rochford

4 p.m. Mindful walk around the Academy gardens with group Qigong and Tai Chi Session on the Lawn with a closing Meditation to complete the weekend. (Weather dependent) 5 p.m. Finish

Tea and Coffee etc will be available for a small donation.

You are welcome to bring your children to the event but their safety and behaviour is your responsibility at all times.

The weekend is by donation. You can donate on the day or in advance by bank transfer (details available from joe@taichination.com).

There will be a book/DVD stall with stock from the Tai Chi Nation online shop at 20% discount.
