The Tai Chi Nation Well Being Programmes
Finding a way to cultivate team spirit whilst honouring the individual is essential for successful organisational development. These programmes provide meaningful and enjoyable content that will address the fundamental need for finding balance within oneself and as a single operating organisation. Working together in a harmonious way benefits everyone and by learning techniques based on wholeness, successful practices in the workplace can be enhanced. We equip delegates how to holistically and proactively manage their own emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual equilibrium. Here are our programmes in detail:
1. Rebalancing Interventions
- managing energy and creating focus
Creating a lift in the energy of a group can really make a difference to a training course. By using techniques based on Tai Chi, it is possible to re-focus and re-energise a group whilst also developing self management skills. These interventions can also enhance qualities such as cooperation and communication via interactive partner exercises.
Core content: Tai Chi and Qigong, Tai Chi partner exercises, self massage.
2. The Way Of Well Being
- creating inner and outer balance
This one day or half day practical course equips teaching professionals and children to holistically and proactively manage their own emotional, psychological and physical equilibrium.
Practical solutions to stress, well being and behaviour issues are current problems which can easily and simply be solved. This course uses tried and tested methods of a physical and psychological nature to dynamically create the antidote within ourselves and others. This process assists organisations meet their legal obligation to staff and students but more importantly can empower participants to take more control of their own well being in a simple and effective way.
Core content: Tai Chi and Qigong, self massage, partner exercises.

3. The Way Of Positive Energy
- team building via holistic means
A half day or full day event which emphasises relaxation, giving and receiving, self management of stress and supporting others.

Through three practical workshops this event provides meaningful and enjoyable content that will address the fundamental need for finding balance within oneself and as a single operating organisation. Moving together in a harmonious way benefits everyone and by learning techniques based on wholeness successful practices in the workplace can be enhanced.
Core Content: Tai Chi, Shiatsu, Chinese Yoga

Facilitators
Matthew Rochford BA, TCUGB.
Matthew Rochford is a leading teacher of well being techniques, an internationally published author and producer of 4 acclaimed DVDs. For the last 19 years he has dedicated his life to continual study and practise of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Meditation, successfully bringing the benefits to dozens of organisations and thousands of individuals in the UK and Europe. He currently works with Roche, NASUWT, Unilever, Work Club, ATL, The Roy Leighton Partnership and Exeter University, is embarking on a prioneering leadership training with Margeret Wheatley and in the process of registering as a CPD provider.
Andrew Broadhead, BSc, TCUGB.
Andrew has a wealth of experience in Tai Chi and related fields of Process Orientated Psychology, Buddhist Meditation and Council Guide Training (Native American tradition). He has worked with clients such as Plymouth City Council and the South Devon Carers Consortium.
Joe Salmon, BA, TCUGB.
Joe is a full time Tai Chi and Qigong teacher who is highly effective and has a deep understanding of the philosophy behind the art. A former senior manager with one of the UKs biggest environmental charities his approach is very much people orientated and he is used to working with a wide range of groups from homeless projects to multi nationals.
Helen Holden, TCUGB, MRSS.
An altogether wonderful teacher, Helen teaches with a good heart and level head. A qualified Shiatsu practitioner and Tai Chi teacher, Helen often gets the most positive feedback from our events mainly because of her great connection with people and genuinely confident humility.
Chris Waters, BSc, TCUGB.
With over 14 years experience of Tai Chi and a lifetime's devotion to spiritual development, Chris is a very popular teacher. With lots of experience within the business world (as Director of a Software Company) he always manages to get people to see things with new eyes and renewed energy.
