Directors - Mike Potter

Mike is a highly experienced Acupuncturist and Herbalist.  He currently teaches at Westminster University and on the Tai Chi Nation Instructor Course.  He runs a busy clinical practice in South Devon.

Mike first studied at the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Leamington Spa. After graduating he went to live in China where he spent two years studying Chinese medicine, Taijiquan and Qigong. He has also studied in Japan and the USA.

In the 1990s he practiced at the NHS funded Department of Complementary Medicine, based at Lewisham Hospital SE London. He also worked in three NHS Fund Holding GP practices. Mike has been teaching for over twenty years and is currently a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor on the MSc Chinese Herbal Medicine course at Westminster University.

Mike has also served on the Accreditation Committee of the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board which monitors standards of education within the profession. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
